Three cheers for Read Across America in Mrs. Lombardo's 4th Grade class! Students were excited to welcome the district's Communication Specialist, Bruce Moran, as their guest reader.

Crim Primary School held its annual STEAM Expo to the delight of a large crowd on Wednesday, February 26. There were 86 3rd and 4th Grade Crim students who presented a total of 50 exhibits. Take a look at this impressive science fair.

Putting the "A" in STEAM...
During Student Support Week, the related service providers and Primary Autism classroom teachers at Crim School participated in Heartfest, a special event designed to provide students with engaging, hands-on activities.
Students from each classroom were mixed into four small groups and rotated through different stations, each designed to target a specific skill. In one station, the speech therapist and teacher guided students through reading and following step-by-step directions to create a tasty snack mix. Another station featured the occupational therapist and teacher supporting students as they colored and cut out paper hearts, as well as painting paper hearts using a salad spinner. In the third station, the physical therapist and teacher led students through stretching exercises and an interactive activity where they searched for hidden objects in a ball bin.
Heartfest provided a dynamic and interactive way for students to develop essential skills while fostering teamwork and creativity.

School was not in session on Wednesday, January 29, but teachers and staff were busy sharing educational lessons and recommendations in rooms across the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District that day.
The school district’s PD (Professional Development) Day was held on January 29, when speakers held productive sessions on a wide range of topics at numerous school buildings throughout Bridgewater-Raritan.

Congratulations to all of our Crim School Spelling Bee participants. Special congratulations to each of our grade-level winners in Grades 1-4.
Crim School will participate in The Great Kindness Challenge from January 27-31, 2025. The Great Kindness Challenge is a proactive and positive bullying prevention initiative that improves school climate and increases student engagement. The Great Kindness Challenge – School Edition is one week devoted to performing as many acts of kindness as possible.
