The BREA Community Breakfast held on October 3rd was a success! What a great way for students, parents and staff to start the day.








The Scholastic Book Fair at the Crim Primary School, sponsored by the Crim PTO, was held Monday, October 6, through Wednesday, October 8.

The staff at Crim Primary School wore pink to raise awareness and celebrate/honor those who battled and continue to battle breast cancer. In this family, no one fights alone!

October 2nd is National Custodian Appreciation Day. Crim School recognizes our head custodian, Hilda, and our night custodians, Maria and Marta, for their hard work each day and for making sure our school is safe and clean.


Keep up the great work Crim Colts! We have collected over 80 costumes to be offered to our Crim families, with remaining costumes donated to the Jersey Cares Foundation. The collection will run until October 10th.



Thank you to our amazing and generous PTO for donating our brand new shade structure. What a great space for teachers to take students outside for snack and classroom lessons, for students to relax outside during recess, for BRCARES to utilize, and for the community to use during night events.

Crim Primary School students attended an assembly to learn about a positive school culture when The Energy Bus made a stop on the morning of Monday, September 29.




If students in the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District are searching for a fun night, then the Shimon and Sara Birnbaum Jewish Community Center is the place to be on Saturday, September 27.
The Jewish Community Center’s first Kids Night Out of the school year will run from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the building that is located at 775 Talamini Road in Bridgewater.
According to the officials at the Jewish Community Center, students are urged to “ bring their camp and school friends together for an unforgettable evening packed with swimming, sports, pizza dinner and dessert, and non-stop fun! “
The officials went on to explain this entertaining evening that is open for students aged 5 to 11.
“Our supervised program will have everyone splashing in the pool, shooting hoops and playing games in the gym, and filling up on delicious pizza and sweet treats. Whether you're diving into the pool or diving into dessert, this is the perfect way to reconnect after the summer and celebrate a fantastic school year ahead!”

Colts Connect Week on September 8-12 at the Crim Primary School featured five themed days, including Superhero Day on Thursday, September 11. Hey Day, Hat/Sports Jersey Day, Wear Red and Black Day, and Say Something Kind Day were also celebrated.




Today we commemorate the events that happened 24 years ago on September 11, 2001. We remember and will never forget. Today, we honor the heroes of 9/11 who gave the ultimate sacrifice for those in need.

Our PTO has done it again…the Back-to-School Social on 9/5 was a success! Music 🎶, the playground 🛝, cotton candy, popcorn🍿and a Photo Booth to capture it all...what more could you want? Thank you Crim School PTO ❤️.

Crim School will celebrate Colts CONNECT Week from Monday, September 8, 2025 through Friday, September 12, 2025 to encourage student connections and inclusivity. The week will include videos for students, morning meeting discussions/questions, classroom activities, and school-wide theme days and announcements.

The school bell rang on Tuesday, September 2, in the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District. Students sprang off buses, exited automobiles, and strolled from the sidewalks into all 11 schools, where they were greeted by smiling staff members on the first day of the school year.
