The snow that fell last weekend, December 13-14, was the theme of Crim Primary School's annual holiday Sing-Along.
On the morning of December 19, Crim students celebrated the wonder of snow with their sing-along production "Bring on the Snow", a set that contained songs about snow days and the hopes of children everywhere to get one.
According to Elizabeth Kane, Crim’s enthusiastic Music Teacher, the sing-along featured the 4th Grade classes “as our resident comedians who brought a laugh or two to the stage!”
"I am so proud of our students, that is a lot to memorize, and they really brought their theater flair! I am also so thankful to Principal Kelliann TenKate, Ms.( Hilda) Villasis (custodian), Mr. (Matt) McCarthy (Supervisor of Arts Education for the school district), our 4th Grade team, and faculty members who helped throughout the show,” Ms. Kane said.
Ms. Kane added:
“Theater can be a lot to organize and prepare; there are a lot of moving parts, but here at Crim, it is truly a community-building event that everyone is proud of!" The show concluded with an indoor blizzard, which brought joy to all!”
