Walt Disney World Resort will be waiting for the Bridgewater-Raritan High School cheerleaders.
On Sunday, the Bridgewater-Raritan High School varsity cheer team competed at a regional qualifying event in Trenton and earned a bid to the National High School Cheerleading Championship.
The national championship event will take place from February 6 to 8 at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida.
“I am especially proud of this accomplishment because 12 out of the 14 athletes on this team did not compete at the varsity level until this year,” said Jeanne Fayna, the head cheerleading coach for Bridgewater-Raritan.
