Bridgewater-Raritan High School gymnasts Alison Lardieri and Sierra Marce each placed in the State Individual Championships on Saturday, November 8, at Brick Memorial High School.
Lardieri capped an outstanding season when she placed fourth in the All Around event, while she finished fifth in the Vault, Beam and Floor events, and sixth in the Bars event.
Sierra delivered a second-place performance in the Beam event.
"The girls had an outstanding meet,” Bridgewater-Raritan Coach Julie Zaneto said.
Both of these juniors helped Bridgewater-Raritan win its fifth straight Somerset County Tournament championship on Friday, October 17, at Montgomery High School.
Lardieri was the standout gymnast at the Somerset County meet.
She won the All Around championship as well as being crowned the champion in the Vault, Bars and Floor events in the Somerset County Tournament.
