Happy and not spooky Halloween songs were heard loud and clear at Crim

Everyone joined in to sing happy— and not spooky— songs when Crim Primary School held an event that the principal passionately called “my treasure.”

The Not So Spooky Sing Along was staged for the eighth year at Crim on the afternoon of Friday, October 28.

With Halloween approaching just a few days away, the entire student body and staff of Crim  jammed into the gymnasium and sang their favorite tunes to celebrate one of their favorite times of the year

The Not So Spooky Sing Along at the school is among the favorite gatherings of the school year, according to Crim Principal Kelliann Ten Kate.

“This is all about being interactive,” Principal Ten Kate said. “This was started by our music teacher Mrs. (Heather) Day eight years ago. She plans and organizes. This is my treasure.”

Mrs. Day also cherished the holiday event.

“I started this to build the community,” she said. The kids love it.”

And so did the adults.
