Faculty volleyball tournament was a smashing success

Adamsville Primary School has been crowned the king of volleyball.

The annual faculty volleyball matchup, a fundraising event that was sponsored by the Parent Teacher Organizations (PTO) at Adamsville, Crim Primary School and Hamilton Primary School, was a smashing success when the games were played before a crowded gym at the Bridgewater-Raritan Middle School on the evening of Friday, January 20.

In the championship showdown, Adamsville defeated Crim to secure the 2023 trophy.

Earlier in the evening, Crim defeated Hamilton and then Adamsville beat Hamilton to set up the final.

Among the spectators was Hamilton Principal Tim Beaumont, who enjoyed the matches along with the audience that numbered an estimated 800.

“We had a very successful volleyball tournament. The PTOs from Adamsville, Crim, and Hamilton brought back this annual fundraising event after a hiatus over the past few years,” Principal Beaumont said. “The event was well attended by students, families, and staff. Cheerleader teams from each school performed between each of the games.”
