Crim School Celebrates A Week Of Respect October 4-8, 2021

Week of Respect

October 4-8, 2021

Crim School will celebrate the Week of Respect from October 4-8, 2021, in accordance with the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act (P.L.2010, c.122). Respect means thinking about how others want to be treated and treating them that way. Thinking about how you would like to be treated will help you decide how to treat others (Committee for Children, 2011). Each morning during the morning announcements students will recite the following Peace Pledge:

Peace Pledge

We pledge to be peacemakers

Throughout the day

And at all other times.

We will be kind

And treat others

The way we want to be treated.

(Naomi Drew)

Teachers have been provided with brief activities and a list of read-alouds to utilize with students to foster respect.  Students will also hear daily reminders during the morning announcements about the ways we can show respect in our lives.
