Crim placed second in another successful Primary School Volleyball Tournament

Hamilton Primary School is the king of Primary School Volleyball Tournament for 2024.

Hamilton defeated Crim Primary School in the title match to win the championship of the annual event that is sponsored by Parent Teacher Organizations (PTO) from the three primary schools that compete in the tournament from the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District —Hamilton, Crim and Adamsville.

This year’s tournament was played once again at the Bridgewater-Raritan Middle School’s gymnasium and an estimated 700 spectators attended this popular showdown between the three primary schools on Friday, January 26.

Hamilton opened up with a victory over Adamsville, the defending champion, and then took out Crim in the final. Crim placed second by virtue of its victory over Adamsville in the third and final game of the evening.

Hamilton Principal Tim Beaumont, a member of the championship squad, provided a summary of what was another tournament enjoyed by all.

“The PTOs from Adamsville, Crim, and Hamilton hosted another highly successful staff volleyball tournament.  The event was very well supported by an enthusiastic crowd of students, families, and staff. Cheerleader teams joined the Adamsville Eagle, the Crim Colt, and the Hamilton Tiger to support the staff participants,’’ Principal Beaumont said.
