BRRSD Families and Community Members,
Congratulations! We have succeeded with five days of distance learning and the weekend is here. Please take these two days to focus on your family. I gave this same message to our staff: this weekend, slow everything down. Saturday and Sunday should be a time to rest and recharge. This global situation should remind us to focus on what is truly important. Take care of yourself and those around you.
Our schools will continue, but learning isn’t confined to our buildings. There is an ever-expanding universe always around us and we live and learn within it every day. We can get caught up with the immediate and miss the important. We will keep the learning going, but that requires that we keep everyone healthy and positive.
Remember, next week we celebrate distance learning and the B-R community. Share your pictures and videos with your teachers or classmates and if you are comfortable, post them on Twitter with the hashtag: #BRingonthespirit. All posts with this hashtag will be posted on our Distance Learning page for everyone to enjoy.
We are encouraging everyone home during this distance learning to participate: students, staff, families, alumni, parents of alumni, and members of the larger BRRSD community.

Make it fun, Be creative. Remember that you are celebrating our community, which means you are representing our district. Please keep all posts appropriate for school and representative of B-R.
