2021-09-09-School Reopening Update

Dear Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School Community,

The purpose of this correspondence is to provide the school community with an update related to in-person instruction within our district.  On September 7th, I sent out a communication describing the challenges present at Crim Primary School, Hamilton Primary School, and the Middle School related to the recent weather event and flooding.

Remote instruction will be in place for a minimum of two weeks at the Middle School.  Correspondence has been shared by the building principal describing the expectations for online learning.  All questions should be directed to the Middle School Main Office.

Crim and Hamilton Primary students will attend school remotely on Monday, September 13th. The Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District remains hopeful that we will be able to open both schools early next week, as we are awaiting the results of air quality samples that were collected today.  Please be on the lookout for correspondence from your student’s principal with additional information related to remote learning.

PLEASE NOTE:  All other district schools will reopen for in-person, full-day instruction on Monday, September 13th.

Best Regards,

Robert Beers,
Superintendent of Schools
